Happy Birthday to You Friend Handmade Card

Hello friends. Today I went outside my comfort zone and created a “mixed media” type Happy Birthday to You Friend card. I will admit it was kind of fun getting my fingers dirty but I did have to wash them right away.

TCW Tattered Lace Stencil
Modeling Paste
Ann Butler Designs Aquamarine Iridescents
Earth Safe Finishes Blood Orange Sorbet Chalk It Up Paint
Kraft Cardstock
Prima Flowers
Ranger Embellishments (Clock)
Ribbon
Sentiment Stamp from Unity Stamp Company
Simon Says Stamp Rose Gold Embossing Powder

I mixed the modeling paste with the Iridescent and Chalk it up Paint and smeared it over the stencil on different areas of the cardstock. I also did the same thing with straight modeling paste. Once it was dry with my finger I went around the edges with the modeling paste as well.

After the modeling paste was completely dry I stamped the sentiment on the top right corner and heat embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder.
I added the clock to the lower right corner and instead of adhering it with any type of adhesive I secured it using a little dial brad.
I added stacks of flowers down the side and secured them using matching brads as well.

I finished off the card front with a piece of gold shear ribbon tied in a small bow.

I do have to admit it was fun creating this card.
Hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.
